Right of withdrawal
For a distance sale of goods to a consumer, the statutory withdrawal period is generally fourteen calendar days from receipt of the goods, subject to any legal exceptions that apply and are clearly disclosed before the order. Consumers do not have to give reasons for their decision.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal
Notify your decision before the deadline by emailing support@guitar-icons.com with a clear, unambiguous statement. Simply refusing delivery or returning the parcel without making such a statement does not necessarily constitute withdrawal. To help us process your request, provide your name, order number, product concerned and date of receipt.
Model withdrawal form

“I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: [product]. Ordered on: [date]. Received on: [date]. Consumer’s name: [name]. Consumer’s address: [address]. Date: [date]. Signature only if this form is sent on paper.”
Returning the product
After notifying withdrawal, return the goods within fourteen days. Contact support@guitar-icons.com for return instructions and the postal return address. These practical arrangements must not delay the exercise of the statutory right of withdrawal.
Store procedure: Customers should contact support@guitar-icons.com before making any return to receive shipping instructions. The parcel must be adequately protected and include the order number.
Return shipping costs
For a simple change of mind under the statutory right of withdrawal, the customer pays the direct cost of returning the goods, provided this information was communicated before the contract was concluded. For an order fulfilment error, damage attributable to the seller, a defect or non-conformity, Guitar Icons covers the applicable return costs.
A return due to non-conformity, an order fulfilment error or damage attributable to the seller is handled separately from a simple change of mind. Costs legally borne by the seller are not passed on to the consumer.
Condition of returned products
Consumers may handle the product as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. They may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary. The miniature guitar, stand, accessories and any packaging should be suitably protected for return shipping.
Refunds
Following a valid withdrawal, refundable amounts are reimbursed within fourteen days of being informed of the withdrawal decision. The seller may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received back or evidence of their return shipment is provided. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, refunds use the original payment method and no refund fee is charged to the consumer.
Eligible standard delivery costs are refunded as required by law. Any extra charge for a delivery method more expensive than the standard option offered may remain payable by the customer.
Damaged, incomplete or non-conforming goods
If the item received is damaged, incomplete or does not match the order, contact support@guitar-icons.com with your order number and photographs if helpful. The store will handle the request under the applicable statutory guarantees and obligations, separately from the right of withdrawal.
